Locations research

London- We chose the location of London as it is an iconic city, more specifically Camden Lock and Tower Bridge.  The size and business of London helps emphasise the thought of Roses sister being lost and hard to find.

Kitchen-  A kitchen we feel  is a place where people gather, a place where food is prepared for families as a sign of love. This is contradicting as the only item in the kitchen of Rose house is the vodka bottle. This is almost a sign that the only love her mother has is for alcohol.

Park- The clip of Rose in the park is to show her freedom. The park is a very large and quiet area where rose can be ‘free’ to do as she pleases.  As she is going through the park it shows her connection to nature which connotes purity.

Bedroom- When rose is in her bedroom at the care home, her bedroom represents her personal space and the fact she is isolated from everyone else. She likes her own company. The decoration will include Rose petals to relate to the theme and her name.

Conference police room- The police room emphases the seriousness of the situation Rose is in. This is shown by the emptiness of the room, like the emptiness of love in her life. Also shows she is isolated to the rest of the world. The professional atmosphere is represented by the notebooks and tape recorder.
